Job summary

Qualifications

• University degree in early child development or a 2-year post-secondary diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• Registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
• Minimum of 2-3 years recent experience in related child care.
• Assignments may include English and/or French classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver learning experiences for kindergarten students in collaboration with the teaching team.
• Supervise and ensure safety of students in the absence of the teacher.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and support staff to promote student well-being and learning.
• Assist with assessment, documentation and data collection for learning progress.
• Contribute to a respectful, inclusive classroom environment and routines.
