Job summary

Lifemark Health Corp.’s Cornwall Physiotherapy clinic in Cornwall, ON is seeking a Kinesiologist to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping people move better and feel better. The role offers mentorship and opportunities for growth within Lifemark Health Group.

You will assess, design graded exercise programs, and contribute to return-to-work planning, supporting client progress and documented outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Kinesiology or equivalent is required.
• Registered with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario is required.
• 1-5 years of work experience in occupational rehabilitation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the supervision of a physiotherapist.
• Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs.
• Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing.
• Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis.
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals.
• Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients.
• Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge.
• Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart.

Qualifications

• Registered with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario
• Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program
• Preferably with 1-5 years of work experience specializing in Occupational Rehabilitation is considered an asset
