Job summary

Value Buds is seeking a motivated Keyholder/Shift Lead to drive exceptional customer service and lead by example in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment in Winnipeg. You will educate customers on products, manage daily store operations, and support a smooth checkout experience.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience.
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Criminal Record Check may be required.
• Cannabis selling certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep.
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks.
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification.
