Job summary

Grasslands Public Schools seeks a Colony Educational Assistant at Clearview Colony School, County of Newell, about 45 minutes from Brooks, Alberta. You will assist with lesson plan design for kindergarten to Grade 3, create student activities, and help manage the classroom to support student success.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver instruction based on student needs.
Prepare remedial programs for students needing extra help.
Support students in instruction as well as social and behavioral needs.
Encourage positive interactions among students and staff.
Collaborate with Colony Teacher and German Teacher to identify learning needs.
Provide a stimulating learning environment that fosters growth.
Communicate student progress and meet with parents as required.
Attend meetings and in-service training sessions.
