Job summary

Spyder Controls Corp. in McBride, BC, is seeking a Junior Hardware Engineering Technician. This entry-level role offers hands-on exposure to electronics hardware development and mentorship from an experienced engineering team.

Ideal candidates will hold a diploma or degree in electrical/electronics engineering technology and can read schematics, work with lab equipment, and manage component data. Relocation to McBride may be required.

We're looking for a Junior Hardware Engineering Technician to join our growing team in McBride, British Columbia. This role is intentionally designed for individuals at the beginning of their careers who are eager to learn, take on new challenges, and grow alongside an innovative company.

What You'll Do


  • PCB testing and validation using industry-standard lab equipment

  • Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, updates, and revision tracking

  • Prototype build coordination and manufacturing support

  • PCB layout and design reviews

  • Component selection, research, and documentation

  • Collaboration with PCB vendors and manufacturing partners

  • Maintaining engineering records and test documentation

What We're Looking For
