Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada is seeking a Junior Systems Engineering Analyst to support the SoS Engineering team for the C5ISR-T program. You will help develop system requirements, MBSE models, and use-case contexts, working with DND and internal stakeholders.

The role is based in Canada (Calgary or Ottawa) with on-site and hybrid options, requiring a bachelor’s degree and strong communication skills. Knowledge of AI/ML is a plus, security clearance eligibility expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience working with requirements and traceability.
• Ability to diagram system elements using block/sequence/behavior diagrams.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and define operational requirements with the customer and DND.
• Create activity, sequence, use case, and block definition diagrams.
• Develop system requirements, interfaces, and end-to-end information flows.
• Manage traceability from high-level to test artifacts.
• Apply MBSE techniques to develop Operational and System Views (DNDAF/UAF).
• Present status updates and conduct reviews with stakeholders.
