Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems-Canada is seeking a Co-Op Student to join the System-of-Systems (SoS) Systems Engineering Team as a Systems Engineering Analyst. You will work on the LC5ISR program with the customer and DND to define requirements, develop diagrams and system-level specifications, and support verification and validation activities.

You will collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality work products, manage deliverables, and participate in reviews.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a student in a relevant engineering/science program.
• Demonstrated initiative and strong verbal and written communications.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated capability of meeting commitments and delivering high quality work products.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and define operational requirements with the customer (DND).
• Develop activity, sequence, use case, and block definition diagrams.
• Create system requirements, interface specs, and end-to-end information flows.
• Manage traceability from high-level to test artifacts.
• Use MBSE to develop Operational and System Views per DoDAF.
• Support verification and validation of requirements and write test cases.
