Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems-Canada seeks Junior and Intermediate Systems Engineering Analysts for the HQ Systems Engineering team, working on the C5ISR-T program. Based in Ottawa or Calgary, you will develop system requirements, model with MBSE, and contextualize Use Cases for a highly integrated tactical system.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering, MBSE experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or applicable scientific discipline.
• Experience working with complex systems and handling system requirements.
• Experience deriving, writing, and linking requirements in a database.
• Experience utilizing MBSE techniques and tools to model complex systems.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
• Proven track record delivering high-quality work products.
• Knowledge of military needs and deployed soldier operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the customer (DND) to elicit and define system requirements.
• Develop activity, sequence, use case, and block diagrams for mission scenarios.
• Develop system requirements, interface specs, and information flows.
• Maintain traceability from high-level to test artifacts.
• Apply MBSE to create Operational and System Views per DNDAF/UAF.
• Support testing: verify, validate requirements and review test cases.
• Present status updates and conduct reviews with stakeholders.
• Ensure deliverables meet program commitments and milestones.
