As a Junior Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the surveying team in carrying out layout, dimensional checks, and data collection within the precast yard. What you will be doing

• Assist with layout tasks including formwork, embeds, rebar, and casting beds.
• Support the Senior Surveyor with setting up and maintaining control points.
• Help operate total stations, GPS units, and levels under supervision.
• Record field data, take measurements, and help prepare basic as-built reports.
• Learn to interpret shop drawings and translate them into field layout.
• Follow safety protocols and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Maintain and care for surveying tools and equipment.

What we are looking for

• Diploma or certificate in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in a construction or yard-based environment (internship or co-op experience acceptable).
• Basic knowledge of surveying equipment and CAD software is an asset.
• Willingness to learn, take directions, and work in a team setting.
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to develop professionally.
