This role is based in Halifax, NS.
Utilize survey equipment, software, and systems efficiently.
Read and interpret construction drawings.
Perform accurate layout work.
Coordinate surveying activities with engineers to meet construction requirements.
Support and promote the company’s Quality Assurance and HSE programs.
Perform other duties as required.
At least 3 years of experience in heavy civil or commercial construction.
Understanding of land surveying principles, practices, and procedures, with the ability to interpret construction drawings accurately.
Proficiency with surveying equipment including GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
Knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
Experience working in a unionized environment with collective agreements.
Knowledge of HSE requirements and practices in construction.
Valid driver’s license required.
