This role is based in Halifax, NS.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Utilize survey equipment, software, and systems efficiently.

  • Read and interpret construction drawings.

  • Perform accurate layout work.

  • Coordinate surveying activities with engineers to meet construction requirements.

  • Support and promote the company’s Quality Assurance and HSE programs.

  • Perform other duties as required.

What We Are Looking For
  • At least 3 years of experience in heavy civil or commercial construction.

  • Understanding of land surveying principles, practices, and procedures, with the ability to interpret construction drawings accurately.

  • Proficiency with surveying equipment including GPS, total stations, and data collectors.

  • Knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.

  • Experience working in a unionized environment with collective agreements.

  • Knowledge of HSE requirements and practices in construction.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

  • Fifo availability and camp accommodations.
