This entry-level opportunity is ideal for recent technical school graduates or individuals with hands-on field experience who are ready to start or grow their career in Geomatics. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, receive hands-on training, and contribute to projects across the oil & gas, construction, and municipal sectors.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Survey or Geomatics Technologist diploma or equivalent field experience.
• Interest in field-based, hands-on technical work.
• Willingness to work in varied environmental conditions and remote areas.

Responsibilities

• Support field survey crews with setup and operation of survey equipment.
• Learn to collect data for engineering, legal, construction and oil & gas projects.
• Prepare field notes, sketches and data logs under guidance.
• Work in urban and remote field environments, with some travel and camp work.
• Support team with safety and quality standards compliance.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors to ensure project success.
