Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Junior Supply Chain Analyst to join our client's sourcing team supporting the mass production builds for data centers globally. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth execution of procurement processes, supplier communication, and purchase order tracking. The Junior Supply Chain Analyst will assist the Sourcing Managers by preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations, as well as updating and managing databases, spreadsheets, and other sourcing tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for issuing and managing purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation, and tracking changes, cancellations, and closures. The candidate will work closely with external stakeholders such as suppliers and contractors, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to grow their career in sourcing and procurement. The candidate must be able to work PST hours.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1. BA/BS degree in supply chain, business, industrial engineering, or a relevant field
2. 3+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or a related field
3. Strong knowledge of basic supply chain concepts
4. Proficient in Excel
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
7. Experience managing purchase orders (POs), tracking changes, cancellations, and closures
8. Familiarity with Tableau, PowerBI and/or SQL
9. Ability to resolve supplier-related issues such as change orders, invoice discrepancies, and errors
10. Experience communicating with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and contractors
