Job summary

Entuitive is seeking a Junior Structural Technologist, based in our Edmonton office. You will work on structural BIM modelling, project coordination, and assist the CAD/BIM team to deliver projects from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in architectural or engineering technology.
• Educational or work experience in drafting and designing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detailed knowledge of and ability to use both Revit and AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of and ability to use programs such as Bluebeam, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Interest in applying new technology to support project processes.
• Hands-on construction experience and/or work with existing facilities is considered an asset.
• Knowledge and interest related to embodied carbon is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Structural BIM modelling and project coordination with the Project Principal, Project Engineer and design team.
• Assist other Project CAD/BIM Technologists as workload requires.
• Coordinate responsibilities for drawing production and inter-discipline coordination with outside parties.
• Support creation of standards and methods to advance BIM technologies.
• Work with the project team from initial evaluation through design to construction completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Entuitive.

What will you do?

• Structural BIM modelling and project coordination. Working in conjunction with the Project Principal, ProjectEngineerand other members of the designteamyou will complete projects of varying size and complexity from start to finish.
• In our team environment, as workload requires, you will also sometimesassistother Project CAD/BIM Technologists in completing work for their project deadlines.
• Coordinate the varying responsibilities associated with managing and producing drawings for structural projects, including managing specific files and directories and inter-discipline coordination with outside parties.
• Provide support increationof standards and methods to further the strategic development of relevant BIM technologies.
• Working with the project team frominitialevaluation through design to construction completion
• Such other duties and responsibilities as Entuitive may assign to you from time to time

What do you need to succeed?

Compensation, Benefits, & Total Rewards

• Competitive base salary:$55,000 - $65,000 (aligned with experience, qualifications, and education)
