Junior Drafting Technician/Technologist

The Junior Environmental Drafting Technician/Technologist will primarily prepare 2D plans for environmental site investigations. Responsibilities include creating site layouts, cross-sections, compiling site plans for remediation, and preparing graphic presentations for feasibility studies and proposals. The role supports hybrid work arrangements and multiple office locations.

Locations: Calgary, AB; North York, ON; Winnipeg, MB; Vaughan, ON; Montréal, QC

The ideal candidate will have:

• Studies in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Surveying, Architecture, Landscape Design, or related fields.
• Post-secondary education (Certificate, Diploma, Degree).
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with LiDAR/point cloud data (considered an asset).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2020 or later.
• Experience with Surfer, Pathfinder Office, or similar GPS processing software.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS plugins and data linking within AutoCAD.
• Experience with MicroStation.
• Strong AutoCAD skills (version 2020+).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated with initiative and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent time management skills and adaptability.
• Environmental science knowledge is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills; French is an asset.
• Eligibility for federal reliability clearance.
• Ability to work across time zones.
