A popular mountain resort is seeking a dedicated Jr Sous Chef to join their culinary team. This role involves all aspects of food preparation and quality assurance in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Applicants should have 3–5 years of culinary experience, preferably in a hotel/resort, along with Food Safe certification. The position offers a chance for professional growth within the unique setting of a mountain resort in British Columbia.
Qualifications
3–5 years of previous culinary experience preferably within a Hotel / Resort environment.
1 year of production and Banquet experience is a plus.
Holds a Food Safe Level 1 Certification, (Level 2 is a plus).
Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of food preparation and delivery in the assigned kitchen.
Supervise all cooks in assigned kitchen in the absence of the Sous Chef.
Ensure quality food products are delivered in a timely manner.
