Job summary

Gea Group in Canada is seeking a recruitment professional to coordinate end-to-end hiring for roles across Canada and North America. You will partner with bilingual hiring managers to forecast talent needs and guide selection, while crafting compelling job ads and leading interviews.

You will proactively source candidates through networks, social media, and direct outreach, building pipelines for hard-to-fill roles. Travel may be required for branding activities and fairs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full recruitment process from workforce planning and requisition intake through to hiring for positions across Canada and North America.
• Partner with French- and English-speaking hiring managers to understand current and future talent needs and provide strategic recruitment guidance and recommendations.
• Develop and post job advertisements and create engaging recruitment campaigns to attract high-quality candidates.
• Conduct interviews and support hiring managers throughout the candidate assessment, selection, and decision-making process.
• Proactively source candidates and build relationships through professional networks, social media platforms, job boards, and direct outreach initiatives.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
• Drive continuous improvement, optimization, and standardization of recruitment processes, tools, and best practices.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the various GEA recruitment teams.
• Support employer branding initiatives, including participation in job fairs, partnerships with educational institutions, networking events, and other talent attraction activities.
• Represent GEA as an employer of choice to prospective candidates and talent communities.
• Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics (KPIs) and leverage data and analytics to improve hiring effectiveness and efficiency.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience and promote GEA’s values throughout the recruitment process.
• Travel as required to support recruitment and employer branding activities.
