Responsibilities

• Ensure Finished Product lab equipment is adequate and standardized through monitoring, MSAs, Round Robin tests, and SOPs.
• Maintain an updated equipment list for all testing labs.
• Review and verify all test procedures.
• Organize and analyze equipment MSAs, report findings, and distribute reports.
• Coordinate annual Round Robin programs, including sample collection, data analysis, and reporting.
• Identify gaps using Round Robin reports and document actions.
• Audit testing procedures across sites to ensure compliance and document discrepancies.
• Compile and report consumer complaints weekly/monthly, including private label issues tracked in Power BI.
• Generate and distribute Certificates of Analysis bi-weekly.
• Properly categorize complaints, calculate PPM, and compile monthly reports.
• Analyze complaint data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support product development with data analysis and reporting.
• Provide competitor insights and product change reports.
• Use Power BI for data reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (B.Eng), preferably in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience, preferably in tissue industry
• Knowledge of paper making and converting processes
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts effectively
• Self-motivated, proactive, and responsible
• Experience with project management, A3 problem-solving, and Gantt charts
• Strong communication and presentation skills at all levels
• Leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills
• Willing to travel up to 20%
• Assets: Pulp mill process knowledge, Yankee dryer management systems
