Job summary

Casey’s Creative Kitchens in Southwestern Ontario is seeking a Junior Purchaser to manage materials flow, create POs, monitor stock, and collaborate with suppliers.

You will analyze vendor options to secure best value and support the production team, ensuring on-time delivery for custom cabinetry projects.

The role emphasizes sharp attention to detail, proactive follow-through, and strong communication within a growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, 2+ years preferred in manufacturing.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• ERP experience (SAP) preferred.
• Computer literacy required.

Where You Come In

As our Junior Purchaser, you will play a vital role in keeping our manufacturing facility running seamlessly by managing the steady flow of materials our team relies on. Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, you will take ownership of creating purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, tracking deliveries, and analyzing vendor options to secure the best value. Your sharp attention to detail, proactive follow-through, and eager approach to problem-solving will ensure our team has exactly what they need to build beautiful, custom kitchens on schedule.

What You'll Do

• Create & execute purchase orders (POs) generated in SAP
• Analysis and maintain stocking levels of consumable inventory items
• Create reports and assist in monthly cycle counts of inventory items

• Ensure accurate records of shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions are maintained
• Monitor and track purchased goods from suppliers to final delivery points, ensuring smooth flow of materials into the supply chain
• Analyzes current vendors to provide a comparison and recommendations to find the best priced product.
• Reviews all open orders, following up with vendors to confirm delivery dates

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

• Experience in Purchasing 2 + years previous preferred in a manufacturing environment
• Strong Communication Skills
• ERP experience (SAP preferred)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Computer Literacy
• Strong work ethic
