Job summary

Oakridge Landscape Contractors in Hamilton, ON is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning and execution of landscape construction projects. You will coordinate workers, materials and equipment, ensure work follows specifications, stay on schedule and within budget, and help maintain client satisfaction.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand elevations.
• 1–2 years of similar experience in project coordination is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in all functions including scheduling.
• Attend daily and weekly scheduling meetings.
• Coordinate estimators, superintendents, and owners.
• Assist in hiring sub-trades and purchasing materials.
• Maintain project documentation and progress tracking.
• Conduct site visits and assist with job setups.
• Communicate with clients and maintain relationships.
• Monitor costs and schedule to meet budget and timelines.
