We are hiring a Junior Project Manager for one of our trusted general contracting clients. This is a fully onsite role, offering hands-on experience across a range of construction projects and the opportunity to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, procurement tracking, and documentation.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and internal trades to ensure timely progress and quality deliverables.
- Prepare and manage project documentation such as RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
- Identify potential delays or issues and support timely resolutions.
- Communicate and coordinate with clients, consultants, and various project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a construction or project coordination role.
- Post-secondary education in construction management, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
- Must be eligible for a Secret (Level II) clearance.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management tools like Procore or MS Project is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for site visits.
