We're looking for a Junior Production Assistant to join our team and provide administrative and coordination support across Production Planning, Sourcing, Merchandising and Manufacturing .

This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone who is organized, computer literate, detail-oriented and eager to learn. You don't need previous production experience. We'll provide full training on our internal systems and processes.

What you'll be doing

• Capturing and maintaining production orders and information on internal systems.
• Checking production orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Assisting with production planning updates and ensuring information stays current.
• Tracking outsourced production orders and following up with suppliers on timelines.
• Escalating delays, discrepancies or outstanding items when required.
• Assisting with product cost sheets and ensuring documentation is complete.
• Supporting the Merchandising team with basic sourcing administration.
• Maintaining sourcing, production and branding documentation.
• Helping coordinate vinyl and branding requirements between departments.
• Supporting communication between Production Planning, Merchandising and Sales.
• Keeping company systems and information accurate and up to date.
• Assisting with general day-to-day production administration.

Minimum requirements

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate or equivalent - essential.
• Basic to Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills - essential.
• Strong general computer literacy.
• No previous industry or management experience is required.

Advantageous

A Diploma or Certificate in:

• Production Management
• Operations Management
• Supply Chain Management
• Business Administration
• Fashion Design
• Or a related field

Previous exposure to ERP, production planning or business systems would also be advantageous, but is not required .
