Job summary

PMI-SAC is seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager / PMO Coordinator to support construction, utilities, and industrial projects in Calgary. You will work with senior project managers, field teams, contractors, engineers, and clients to keep projects organized and moving forward.

This hands-on role blends project coordination, reporting, PMO support, and client interaction, with opportunities to advance into a full project management role over time.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in project coordination, PMO, or construction-related roles.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working with both office and field teams.
• Experience with MS Office; familiarity with PMO tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day construction and industrial projects.
• Track schedules, deliverables, actions, and project updates.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, field teams, engineers, and clients.
• Attend meetings, take notes, and follow up on actions.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting.
• Assist with procurement tracking, material coordination and logistics.
• Support issue tracking, change requests, and project follow-ups.
• Assist field coordination activities and site visits.
