Job summary

PM role in Calgary within PMI-SAC, focusing on General Plant Maintenance Capital programs across Canadian assets. You will collaborate with Operations, Planning and Engineering to deliver safety-critical projects on time and within budget.

Requirements include a Mechanical/Civil/Electrical engineering degree and 8–10 years in PM/ construction management, with SAP and MS Project expertise, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 8–10 years of progressive PM, project engineering, or construction management experience.
• Highly proficient in ERP systems (ideally SAP) and project management software.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to field locations.

Responsibilities

• Project Execution: supervise General Plant Maintenance Capital projects for process safety-critical equipment.
• Regulatory Compliance: ensure provincial, federal CER, and corporate safety/environmental requirements are met.
• Cost & Schedule Control: establish baselines with Project Controls; manage changes, contingencies, and reporting.
• Contractor Management: direct external consultants, contractors, and inspectors; manage bids and change orders.
• Resource Optimization: align field resources for safe implementation.
• Continuous Improvement: analyze data to identify cost savings and process efficiencies.
