Job summary

Ventri Door Technologies is seeking a Junior Overhead Door Technician to join our Windsor branch. This field-based role involves installation, troubleshooting, and service work for commercial and industrial clients across the Windsor region.

You will repair automatic and manual overhead doors, read manuals, maintain inventory, and work with a small team. A valid G-class license and strong communication are required. Full-time, Monday–Friday with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools.
• Aptitude for technical and electromechanical repair skills is an asset.
• Must have a valid G class driver's license.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing and able to work on a rotating on-call schedule when required.

Responsibilities

• Repair automatic and manual overhead doors at customer's facility.
• Install and service commercial garage doors.
• Read manuals and use resources to correctly perform repairs for different brands of doors serviced.
• Maintain inventory on company service vehicle to effectively perform service calls.
• Work efficiently in small teams to complete daily tasks and assignments.
• Remain in contact with the Service Administrator daily.

We are currently looking for a Junior Overhead Door Technician to join our growing Service Team based out of our Windsor branch. This is a field-based role where you'll work on overhead door systems which includes installation, troubleshooting, and service work for a wide range of commercial and industrial clients across the Windsor region.

This role is currently vacant and is being actively recruited for.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Repair automatic and manual overhead doors at customer's facility
• Install and service commercial garage doors
• Read manuals and use resources to correctly perform repairs for different brands of doors serviced
• Maintain inventory on company service vehicle in order to effectively perform service calls
• Work efficiently in small teams to complete daily tasks and assignments
• Remain in contact with the Service Administrator daily
• Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekend work as needed
