Job summary

WSP is seeking a Junior Project Coordinator to support mining projects from our Val-d'Or office in Quebec, Canada. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to assist in planning, execution, and delivery while gaining exposure to project controls, budgeting, and reporting.

Ideal candidates have up to 3 years of experience in project coordination or related environments, with strong organizational skills and proficiency in both English and French.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in business administration, project management, engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities across planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout phases to support successful project delivery.
• Support project budgeting and scheduling by tracking information and assisting Project Managers.
• Contribute to project controls activities including risk tracking, progress reporting, forecasting, and documentation management.
• Facilitate subcontractor, supplier, purchase order, and invoicing activities to keep projects on track.
• Coordinate client invoicing requirements and project documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain project records and document control systems for organization and compliance.
• Support Health & Safety initiatives by assisting with project-specific HSE documentation and tracking.
• Enable collaboration across teams through meeting coordination and stakeholder communication.
