Job summary

Weldco-Beales Manufacturing Group is seeking a Junior IT Analyst to provide front-line technical support and help ensure secure operation of company technology. This entry-level role suits a recent graduate who enjoys troubleshooting, learning systems, and applying coding skills to improve routine IT processes across local and remote locations.

The role offers exposure to Windows devices, Microsoft 365, networking, cloud services, Power BI, and development tasks under guidance from senior IT

Qualifications

• Recent diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Systems Technology, Software Development, Cybersecurity, Networking, or a related field.
• Academic, co-op, internship, lab, project, or part-time experience supporting Windows devices, Microsoft 365, networking, cloud services, databases, Power BI knowledge, service desks, or software development is an asset.
• Foundational certification or active progress toward Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900), Power BI Fundamentals, Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900), CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco CCST/CCNA, or an equivalent credential is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support for PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, Microsoft 365 applications, and other end-user tech.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware, software, peripherals, and business applications.
• Assist with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Windows, and user account administration including onboarding and offboarding.
• Monitor cybersecurity alerts, endpoint health, backups and IT service tickets; document findings and escalate as needed.
• Assist with Fortinet networking and security appliances, Windows Server, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, asset records, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Use PowerShell, Python, SQL, APIs, or other development tools to automate tasks and support improvements.
• Assist with testing, debugging, documenting, and deploying scripts/integrations/reports using version control.
• Support business applications including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central; assist with user issues, data quality, testing, vendor escalation.
• Participate in IT projects, site support, security awareness, and continuous improvement across locations.
• Create/Manage Power BI reports as needed.
