How you'll make a difference :

1. Work closely with our design team, project managers, job captains, specifications team, and others to support design development of projects as well as plan and prepare construction documents and support permit applications.
2. Push the boundaries of conventional design detailing with a deep understanding of the needs of the end user (i.e., consumers, tenants, and the community).
3. Resolve complex design and technical issues with senior team guidance and design team support.
4. Promote team members to develop in-house expertise and methodologies (technical and quality standards, etc.) to advance the group and the efficiency and effectiveness of our architectural team.
5. Build architectural BIM models, starting in Concept / Schematic Design and through all design and construction phases.
6. Coordinate models and drawings with the project team using cloud-based software.
7. Provide technical support to the designer, specifications, and contract administration team as required.
8. Implement practice goals and objectives through leadership, coaching, and mentoring of the architectural team members.

Who you are :

1. You have 3+ years of progressive experience as an architectural technologist.
2. You have earned a diploma in Architectural Technology; other avenues of training will also be considered.
3. You are proficient with Revit.
4. You are knowledgeable of building codes, building construction systems, engineering systems, building materials, and specifications.
5. You possess excellent visual / graphic, written, and verbal communication skills with a focus on effective collaboration.
6. You have experience working on a production team for various scales of projects, including large projects (> 100 million construction value) with minimal supervision, including discipline coordination.

Nice to have :

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps such as Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, etc.
• Adobe Suite and other visualization software experience.
