We’re seeking a Junior React Developer to work within our Product Development group for an 8 month contract. You'll have the opportunity to work on various projects, including greenfield products, experimental UX/UI improvements, paying down technical debt, improving existing features and everything in between.

This role is an opportunity for you to make a high impact and build as we enter our next growth phase. We’re looking for someone who will not only be driving new feature development but also ensuring best practices are at the top of mind.

Key Responsibilities

• You'll work on a product development team that has delivered features and services from beginning to end
• You will design and develop services that handle millions of requests
• You’ll be breaking down product features into shippable value increments
• You'll work closely with engineering peers, product and design members to create high-quality products that customers love to use
• You’ll be helping your teams prioritize work to maximize quality, stability and project delivery
• Through code reviews and peer feedback, you will advocate for high standards and look for ways to improve the overall quality of our codebase
• You will take a collaborative approach to solving complex problems

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• You have experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and advanced CSS
• You have experience working closely with Backend engineers and UX/UI Designers to plan, design, and implement new features
• You have experience with frontend performance best practices, tooling, and monitoring
• You have a high bar for quality and hold yourself and your peers accountable to it
• You proactively take on challenges from start to finish
• You’re good at unblocking yourself and your team to keep things moving
