Job summary

The Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board is seeking a Probationary Financial Analyst to join the Business Services Team. You will provide accurate financial and statistical reporting, monitor budgets, forecast year-end results, and support spending adjustments as needed.

You will ensure all general ledger activities comply with PSAB, GAAP and related regulations, and contribute to capital funding reporting and amortization activities as required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Business Administration or Commerce.
• Three years of experience in a related field.
• Advanced proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet programs.
• Proficient with Power BI or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial and statistical reporting for internal users.
• Monitor budgets and forecast year-end results to guide spending decisions.
• Report ongoing capital and amortization activities.
• Ensure general ledger activities comply with PSAB, GAAP and related regulations.
