Job summary

The College of Early Childhood Educators in Ontario is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and payroll processes. Qualifications

• Four-year university program in Finance or Accounting.
• Enrolled in the Canadian Payroll Association program.
• 2–3 years' experience in accounting, budgeting, payroll, financial reporting/analysis, and audit.
• Knowledge of Canadian financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with accounting and payroll software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping activities for the College.
• Process payroll runs and reconcile payroll entries.
• Manage benefits enrollments and related changes.
• Answer payroll/benefits inquiries with HR support.
• Support annual audit and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and ad-hoc budgets.
• Provide budgeting and forecasting support to Directors.
• Stay updated on applicable legislation and practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
