Responsibilities

ABOUT THE JOB:

The Finance Department of Global Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS) is a global organization with a local presence. Our core mission in the Americas involves delivering sound financial reports, supporting Business Units, Service Units, and General Management with financial and strategic steering, scrutinizing business plans, and advising on the efficient use of capital, liquidity, and funding resources. The department performs independent certification of financial aggregates and creates daily P&L explanations on market activities. It also oversees cross-business projects in financial and regulatory areas, ensuring compliance with accounting, prudential, and tax norms.

Liquidity Reporting production is responsible for producing, reconciling, and distributing liquidity reports to SG’s ALM and RISK teams, senior management, and regulators. This includes managing a dashboard team, a stress testing team, and a regulatory reporting team, handling daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, stress testing, and system integrations.

What will be your DAY-TO-DAY?

This role focuses on delivering accurate and timely liquidity reports, including daily Cash Flow Forecasts, dashboards, weekly stress tests, and other liquidity reporting. The candidate should be detail-oriented, knowledgeable about financial products, and proactive in data quality and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate production of liquidity reports.
  • Data Accuracy: Review data for completeness and accuracy, perform checks, and validate against other streams.
  • Data Adjustments: Process manual corrections and escalate issues as needed.
  • Collaboration with Offshore Teams: Oversee and review controls performed by offshore support teams.
  • Issue Resolution: Address data and system feed issues, manage adjustments, and liaise on data enhancements.
  • Regulatory and Audit Support: Support regulatory reviews and audits, ensuring compliance with data standards.
  • Process Improvement: Document procedures, participate in automation projects, and develop interim solutions.
  • Financial Expertise: Use knowledge of financial instruments to support reporting accuracy and improvements.

Profile required

Skills and Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • Strong accounting and finance background with liquidity reporting experience
  • Product knowledge in banking and broker-dealer instruments (derivatives, loans, funding vehicles, currencies, fixed income, equities, commodities)
  • Experience in regulatory liquidity risk reporting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills

Nice to Have:

  • VBA, Alteryx, Python, Power BI skills

Language: Proficiency in English, both oral and written, is required for collaboration with US colleagues.
