Job summary

Aversan Inc. in Cambridge, ON is seeking a Junior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate and calibrate test systems, perform testing verification, and support improvements across manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Location is on-site, with a fixed-term or permanent role; candidates should have a diploma in engineering or technology and at least two years in electronic testing. Compensation ranges CAD 45,000–50,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of electronic testing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Experience in manufacturing or supply chain is an asset.
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is an asset.
• Follow SOPs, maps, and drawings.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate and calibrate test systems according to specifications and safety guidelines.
• Perform testing verification and reporting of devices under test.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues related to devices under test.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support test setups, upgrades, and modifications.
• Document all test activities in appropriate software, including updating equipment records and preparing reports.
• Understand testing procedures and ensure compliance.
