Job summary

Aversan Inc. in Cambridge, ON is seeking a Junior Technician to join our engineering and electronics manufacturing team.

The ideal candidate has experience in electronic testing and can operate and calibrate test systems to specifications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support test setup upgrades and modifications. This role helps minimize downtime, improve productivity, and sustain continuous improvement of our supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant field (Engineering/Technology).
• 2 years of experience in electronic testing.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment is an asset.
• Strong computer skills (Office 365).
• Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma is an asset.
• Follow procedures (SOPs, Maps, Drawings).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• RF theory understanding supports testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and calibrate test systems according to specifications and safety guidelines.
• Perform testing verification and reporting of devices under test.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues related to devices under test.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support test setups, upgrades, and modifications.
• Document all test activities and update equipment records and reports.
• Understand testing procedures.
