Headquartered in Mississauga, ON, our client is a global leader in electrical safety products since 1946, pioneering ground fault relays, isolation monitors, resistance grounding systems, and more—ensuring safety worldwide.

They collaborate with top standards organizations (NFPA, IEEE, IEC, NEC, CEC, GOST, CCC) to improve electrical safety globally.

Role: Electrical Engineer focused on Power Systems/Power Distribution (training provided). Canadian/US/EU passport holders are prioritized for international training/onboarding.

Note: Candidates with expertise in "Power Systems, Distribution, Protection, and Electrical Design" will be preferred over backgrounds in "Instrumentation, Controls, PLCs, Industrial Automation," or "Embedded Systems, Firmware Development, Electronics".

This is a full-time position with extensive training, initially on-site in Mississauga, ON, with potential international travel (EU/US). The role will transition to a hybrid model after 6 months.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to design technical solutions.
  • Conduct product demos and presentations.
  • Assist in preparing sales proposals.
  • Provide post-sales support and develop client relationships.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and networks.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and testing.
  • Understanding of safety standards and regulations.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Eligibility for EIT registration (EGBC).
  • Knowledge of ground fault relays, isolation monitors, etc.
  • Experience with HV/MV/LV systems, power distribution, or testing.
  • Familiarity with ETAP, PSSE, SKM Power Tools, MATLAB, Python.
  • Knowledge of NFPA, IEEE, IEC, NEC, CEC standards.

Logistics:

  • Canadian citizenship or EU/US passport required due to training/travel.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada without restrictions (no work permits).
