Job summary

BBA Consultants in Rouyn-Noranda and Val d'Or, QC invite a Junior Electrical Engineer EIT to support project execution from proposals to site delivery. You’ll design schematics, draft reports, and participate in project management while collaborating with teams across Canada.

English and French language skills are essential to work with offices and clients nationwide. The position requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, engineer registration in Quebec, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
• Available to travel across Canada.
• Advanced English skills for collaboration; may use English daily.
• Advanced French skills for collaboration in Québec.
• Asset: IGEE diploma.
• Asset: knowledge of ETAP, EasyPower, CYME or EMTP-RV.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing detailed engineering projects in the power industry.
• Design and read schematics and plans.
• Draft technical documents, calculation notes, specifications and study reports.
• Participate in project management (execution, costs, schedules).
• Attend internal or client coordination meetings.
• Perform site surveys and monitor site work.
• Help commission substation equipment.

• Available for short-term (mandatory) and long-term (asset) assignments with our clients in Québec and the rest of Canada

• Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
