Job summary

Powell River Educational Services Society in Powell River, British Columbia, invites applications for a Junior Cultivator at our Health Canada licensed cannabis cultivation facility. Responsibilities

• Assist with daily cannabis cultivation tasks, including planting, crop work activities, and harvesting, under the guidance of the cultivation team leads.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary growing environment by performing regular cleaning and sanitation activities in grow rooms and other areas.
• Keep clothes and shoes on-site separate from outdoor clothing; laundry is performed on-site for site-specific clothing.
• Communicate effectively with team members and seek direction as needed to ensure tasks are completed.
• Strictly adhere to and enforce all regulatory requirements under the Cannabis Act and company SOPs.

Location: Powell River/qathet Regional District

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm

Salary Or Wage: $20 to $25 per hour

List of Duties

• Assist with daily cannabis cultivation tasks, including planting, crop work activities, and harvesting, under the guidance of the cultivation team leads.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary growing environment by performing regular cleaning and sanitation activities in grow rooms and other areas.
• Keeping a strict separation of clothes and shoes worn on-site from clothing worn outdoors. Laundry is performed on-site for site specific clothing.
• Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with team members, ensuring tasks are completed and seeking direction when needed.
• Strictly adhere to and enforce all regulatory requirements under the Cannabis Act and Regulations, as well as the company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
