Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years recruiting experience.
  • Experience in Civil Construction is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and Google Drive.
  • Outgoing and optimistic personality.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Willing to work overtime, when necessary.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Proficient English language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with the Lead Workforce Coordinator regarding manpower needs.
  • Pre-screen and organize applicants in the tracking system.
  • Conduct interviews and facilitate onboarding and orientations as required.
  • Track and maintain safety tickets and records of the employees.
  • Coordinate and register employees into necessary training and re-certifications.
  • General administrative duties, including answering the phone, directing email, and onboarding documents.

Golderado Contracting Corporation ("Golderado") supplies skilled labour for construction projects across Canada, primarily in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, supporting clients such as PME Inc., Silverado Site Services, and EllisDon Industrial.

Overview

We are seeking a motivated recruiter to support field staffing needs for construction projects. This role involves coordinating with the Lead Workforce Coordinator, pre-screening applicants, and helping to onboard new hires while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Information
  • Hours: Based on a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday, with overtime as required.
  • Salary: Dependent on experience.
  • Benefits: Health benefits, RRSP, pension plan and vacation offered.
