AtkinsRéalis Group in Canada seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer with a minimum of 3 years' experience in steel and concrete structures. You will perform design and review activities, prepare calculations, and liaise with contractors and stakeholders to resolve RFIs, NCRs, and FCRs.

The role requires knowledge of Canadian codes, teamwork, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment. A Master’s degree is an asset; hybrid working arrangements are offered.

Formación

• Civil Engineering degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of structural analysis and design experience involving steel and concrete structures.
• Thorough knowledge of Canadian codes and standards applicable to Civil and Structural Engineering.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform engineering design activities and design reviews for assigned design changes.
• Prepare engineering design calculations for repair and reinforcement of structural systems.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve structural issues and interpret design documents.
• Liaise with contractors, stakeholders, and other disciplines to address RFIs, NCRs, and FCRs.
• Identify potential structural risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide construction direction based on structural design requirements.
• Attend meetings with contractors and multidisciplinary teams to address construction issues.
• Conduct regular site walkdowns and verify structural integrity during construction stages.
• Maintain a consistent on-site presence and support shift-work schedules as required.
