Job summary

49North is seeking a proactive sales support professional to bolster pipeline and lead management for Canada’s sovereign defence initiatives. You will qualify inbound leads, schedule discovery calls, maintain CRM data, and support proposals and quotes with cross-functional teams.

You will also conduct market research, coordinate events, and produce weekly reports and forecasts for the BD Director. The role requires clear written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in sales support, communications and marketing.
• Experience with government procurement is an asset.
• Degree in Science, Business, Marketing or Communications or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Qualify inbound leads and assign to account executives.
• Conduct initial outreach to schedule discovery calls.
• Maintain the CRM – update lead status and log activities.
• Generate weekly pipeline reports and dashboard updates for the BD Director.
• Gather pricing, product and service information for proposals and quotes.
• Track proposal deadlines and log progress in CRM.
• Conduct desk research on target industries and prospects.
• Plan logistics for webinars, trade shows and client visits.
• Prepare weekly status reports, sales forecasts and KPI dashboards.
• Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
