Job Description

The Opportunity: A.K.A. New Media Inc. requires a passionate, organized Junior Business Development Associate to help introduce and sell raisin to prospective clients. If you enjoy sales, building relationships, and are motivated by helping charities, this role is for you!

The Role:

  1. Build and maintain a healthy database of leads through research and networking.
  2. Engage with senior decision makers in the fundraising/charity sector, conveying value propositions.
  3. Utilize multi-channel outreach including email, social media, ads, and cold calls.
  4. Collaborate with the sales team throughout the sales cycle.
  5. Record sales activities in Hubspot CRM and analyze CRM data.
  6. Provide weekly updates on prospects and leads.
  7. Support market analysis and prospect evaluation.
  8. Conduct qualification demonstrations remotely and in person.
  9. Respond to RFPs and participate in industry conferences (2-3 per year).
  10. Support marketing initiatives to generate leads.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary: $42,000 - $46,000
  • Uncapped quarterly commissions: $6,000 - $8,000
  • Quarterly bonuses based on performance

Qualifications
  • Enthusiasm for cold-calling, networking, and relationship building
  • 2+ years sales/business development experience
  • Experience selling SaaS software
  • CRM knowledge

  • Self-motivated, quick learner
  • Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, business, fundraising, or technology (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Passion for charities and fundraising

  • Selling SaaS or tech solutions
