Job summary

RLG's Vancouver office is seeking a capable, early-career Business Analyst to join our finance team. You'll own day-to-day management of pricing models, financial forecasts, and pipeline data, building executive-ready materials, and collaborating with senior partners to keep data accurate.

This full-time, in-person role offers exposure to corporate finance, strategy, and business development from day one, with mentorship from the CFO and leadership as you grow toward FP&A and client-facing work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience (new graduates encouraged to apply).
• Strong Excel skills with multi-tab models and lookups.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for executive presentations.
• CRM experience is a plus (Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar).
• Exposure to SQL, Power BI, Power Query, or DAX is an asset.
• Exposure to AI tools such as Copilot, Claude or ChatGPT is an asset.
• Interest in energy, mining, capital projects, or management consulting is an asset.
• Co-op, internship, or work FP&A/consulting experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and quality-check pricing models, cost models, and financial forecasts in Excel; support scenario analysis for active client pursuits.
• Build and refine executive-level PowerPoint decks (proposals, pitch materials, board updates) to brand standard.
• Partner with senior consultants and Managing Partners to keep CRM entries complete and accurate; run pipeline hygiene reviews.
• Assist the CFO with monthly forecast cycles, variance analysis, and reporting packs.
• Support BI reporting in Power BI; collaborate with data science and IT on data refreshes and dashboards.
• Handle research, data pulls, and ad hoc analyses for the CFO and senior leadership.
