Job Description: The Junior Analyst at Blue Umbrella is part of the core foundation of the Due Diligence team, responsible for conducting baseline research and preparing summary reports for cases and projects. The role requires ensuring research quality and timeliness within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Collect and analyze research information using various media, including government databases, company disclosures, the Internet, and proprietary sources.
2. Perform qualitative background research on companies, individuals, and related associates according to SOPs.
3. Identify relevant risks, discrepancies, and information of interest to clients.
4. Summarize collected information into English reports, applying in-house style and assisting in refinement.
5. Perform due diligence reviews for AML/KYC compliance and third-party management.
6. Handle ad hoc projects and assignments, often under tight deadlines, embracing continuous change and challenges.

Qualifications:

1. Strong analytical skills and experience in open-source research and database analysis.
2. Fluency in Chinese (Traditional and Simplified) and English, with ability to consolidate research into English summaries.
3. Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work under pressure.
4. Excellent understanding of source information and report-writing skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Well-organized, effective under pressure, and a team player.
7. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
8. Quick learner with initiative and diligence.
9. Bachelor's degree holder.
10. Legally authorized to work in Canada.
