Job summary

lululemon is hiring two Junior Accountants for Operations Accounting to support European entities or US store depository accounts. You will perform bank reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and review GL balances, contributing to cross-functional process improvements.

In this role, strong Excel skills and CPA progress are valuable in a dynamic retail environment. Authorization to work in Canada is required for this role, with a compensation package reflecting a pay-for-performance

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience and progress toward a CPA designation.
• Solid financial background and proficiency in Excel.
• Retail industry experience is considered an asset.
• Experience with Oracle EBS is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations for assigned accounts (European entities or US store depository accounts).
• Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries, including credit card fees and other operational accounting transactions.
• Review and reconcile GL accounts, focusing on cash and credit over/short balances.
• Support a designated area of the business with AR admin tasks or resolving Store Gift Card requests.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancement projects within Operations Accounting.
• Support ad hoc requests, projects, and analyses to meet evolving team needs.
