Job summary

RLG International in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations within our global consulting organization.

Reporting to the Controller, you will focus on accounts payable, expense verification, reconciliations, and financial reporting, helping ensure accuracy and timely processing. This hands-on role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional eager to learn and grow with the team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in accounting, AP, or finance support.
• Solid understanding of accounts payable processes and basic accounting.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices and payments.
• Verify expenses against supporting documents and maintain records.
• Prepare monthly aged AP reports and follow up on balances.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and accruals.
• Support year-end activities and internal stakeholder inquiries.
