Capilano Golf and Country Club in West Vancouver is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the Administration Team. This role supports month-end processing and improvements in accounts receivable, accounts payable and inventory control, with a view toward CPA designation.

• Prior accounting experience and being on the path of pursuit for an accounting designation is preferred. The Club is willing to invest in the education and professional development of the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities

• Accounts receivable: Process member payments and inquiries; month end billing and statements; overdue accounts.
• Accounts payable: Prepare vendor files, code invoices, and manage vendor queries; process payment runs; GST/PST remittances.
• General accounting: Reconcile bank and credit cards; balance sheet reconciliations; recurring journal entries; coordinate inventory counts.
