Job description

As a Software Developer in the Network Services Platform team, you will work to provide secure and efficient platform services in the areas of Kubernetes platform, security, authentication, messaging, and databases in a cloud-native environment.

You will be responsible for providing the best technologies available in those areas. Your role includes continuously analyzing existing systems, identifying areas for improvement, proposing solutions, and implementing them. Additionally, you will assist and mentor members of the R&D community to help adopt and utilize these latest technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong experience with Linux, Docker, Vagrant, Git, GitLab, Gradle, and Jenkins, along with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Go, Python, Bash, Ansible, C, and C++.
• Skilled in researching, evaluating, and integrating new technologies, with a mindset of continuous learning and a problem-solving approach.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment, demonstrating adaptability and professionalism.

Preferred Skills

• Deep expertise in Cloud Native principles, design patterns, and Agile/Scrum methodologies, ensuring best practices in modern application development.
• Strong familiarity with OpenShift, GKE, and other Kubernetes platforms, along with hands-on experience in virtualization, containerization, and orchestration using OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Solid understanding of security concepts, including PKI, Certificates, TLS, and Authentication, to ensure robust and secure system implementations.
