PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
PUBLIC RELATIONS
- Represent the Public Relations (PR) team and assist in developing and executing strategies, product placement, editorial reporting, and analysis.
- Support the Marketing team across all initiatives, campaigns, and social media platforms with new ideas, development, and execution.
- Monitor press coverage daily and create monthly press reports, project summaries, and event recaps.
- Support and facilitate press placements through sample loans, gifting, and events.
- Assist with stylist, influencer, and editor appointments for collection pulls and appointments.
- Coordinate tools needed to secure press coverage for celebrity dressing, media relations, and special initiatives.
- Develop materials, briefings, provide on-site support, and coordinate events and press days.
- Manage press mailers and seeding, including sourcing materials, packaging, and distribution.
- Handle administrative duties such as processing and tracking invoices and inputting data into the PR calendar.
- Maintain media lists and build relationships with media representatives across all platforms.
PARTNERSHIPS
- Support corporate communications tactics such as presentations and research.
- Assist with all aspects of events, including planning, logistics, and execution, which may occur during work hours, evenings, or weekends.
- Prepare and edit company publications, including website and product copy, blog posts, media releases, etc.
- Assist with uploading website content like images, articles, videos, and press coverage.
- Support the preparation and delivery of photoshoots and external events.
- Stay updated on digital social trends, launches, and influencers.
- Act as a customer service and sales backup, providing product and brand knowledge and excellent service to clients.
- Support sales for trunk shows and private shopping events.
- Liaise with VIP clients and high-priority contacts to build relationships.
- Assist the director with managing retail partners, organizing follow-ups, and coordinating PKs.
- Create weekly sales reports for analysis and action planning.
- Some travel may be required.
- Perform other administrative duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, E-commerce, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing, and proofreading.
- High attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and error spotting.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to generate new ideas.
- Strong work ethic and effective time management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
