Dawn Staffing Solutions Inc. invites applications for an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter to join our client’s team near Redcliff, AB.

You will install, fabricate, maintain, and repair industrial piping systems, working safely in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a Alberta Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter certification or completed apprenticeship, strong reading of P&IDs and drawings, and ability to work independently or with a team on site.

Qualifications

  • Valid Alberta Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter certification or completed apprenticeship.
  • Experience with industrial piping, valves, flanges and pressure testing.
  • Ability to read P&IDs, isometric drawings and fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, blueprints and piping specifications.
  • Measure, cut, thread, bend, fit and install piping and fittings.
  • Fabricate and assemble pipe spools, valves, supports and related components.
  • Install and maintain process piping, valves, pumps and related equipment.
  • Perform pipe fit-up, flange assembly, bolt-up and alignment.
  • Conduct pressure testing and assist hydrostatic testing and leak detection.
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and replacement of piping components.
  • Complete field measurements, tie-ins and system walkdowns.
  • Collaborate with welders, millwrights and electricians to complete projects safely.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter to join our client s team located near Redcliff, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing industrial piping systems while working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

Up to $44/hr+: $165 per day

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, blueprints, and piping specifications.
  • Measure, cut, thread, bend, fit, and install various types of piping and fittings.
  • Fabricate and assemble pipe spools, valves, supports, and related components.
  • Install and maintain process piping, valves, pumps, and associated equipment.
  • Perform pipe fit-up, flange assembly, bolt-up, and alignment.
  • Conduct pressure testing and assist with hydrostatic testing and leak detection.
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and replacement of piping components.
  • Complete field measurements, tie-ins, and system walkdowns as required.
  • Work closely with welders, millwrights, electricians, and other trades to complete projects safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all company and site safety procedures, including toolbox meetings and hazard assessments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Qualifications
  • Valid Alberta Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter certification or completed apprenticeship.
  • Previous industrial, manufacturing, chemical, or oil & gas pipefitting experience.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and fabrication drawings.
  • Experience with pipe fabrication, fit-up, valves, flanges, supports, and pressure testing.
  • Strong knowledge of pipefitting tools, equipment, and safe work practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments and handle heavy materials.
