Canadian Manufacturing is hiring a Journeyperson Service Millwright to support our welding automation equipment. You will repair, test, and service both rental fleet and customer-owned equipment, with responsibilities spanning shop work and on-site client visits.

Responsibilities

• Receive, document, test, troubleshoot, estimate, and repair the rental fleet and customer-owned equipment.
• Clean, refurbish, maintain, and preserve equipment through welding, grinding, cutting, painting, buffing, and rust removal.
• Ensure quality assurance, inspections, and accurate parts identification using drawings and manuals.
• Organize warehouse equipment, tools, and parts inventory; maintain a safe workspace.
• Serve as professional point of contact for customers, managers, and team members.
• Train new staff and assist other departments as needed.

About the Role

Are you a mechanically inclined professional with a knack for hands-on repair and customer service? We areseeking a proactive and dependableJourneyperson Millwright - Serviceto join our Service and Rentals department.

In this role, you will be essential to our operations, responsible for receiving, documenting, repairing, and maintaining both our rental fleet and customer-owned equipment. Whether you are troubleshooting issues in the shop, refurbishing equipment, or heading to a client site for repairs, you will play a key role in ensuring our automated welding equipment operates flawlessly and meets our high quality assurance standards.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, document, test, troubleshoot, estimate, and repair therental fleet and customer-owned equipment.
• Clean, refurbish, maintain, and preserve equipment through welding, grinding, cutting, painting, buffing, and rust removal. Package and prepare equipment for transport or outdoor storage.
• Maintain strict quality assurance standards, perform inspections, and accurately identify parts using drawings, vault spreadsheets, SharePoint, and manuals. Complete service repair orders, estimates, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Organize warehouse equipment, tools, and parts inventory while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, both indoors and outdoors.
• Act as a professional point of contact for customers, managers, and team members.
• Train new staff and assist other departments as needed.

Who You Are

• Journeyperson Millwright certificate or an equivalent trade.
• Strong general electrical and mechanical aptitude, and are competent in using technology, power tools, hand tools, and powered mobile equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills with strong reading, writing, and verbal communication abilities.
• Dependable team player, interested in learning new skills, and capable of making sound decisions while following directions meticulously.
• You prioritize safety at all times, wear required PPE, and are physically capable of lifting 50 lbs unassisted, twisting, stretching, and working outdoors in all weather conditions or standing/walking for long hours.
• You have a proactive, inquisitive approach with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
