North49 Foods in Moose Jaw is seeking a Millwright/Industrial Mechanic to install, maintain and repair plant machinery. You will work with the Maintenance Team to keep the facility running safely and in full regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the role requires a Millwright Certification, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to read drawings. In-person position with preventive maintenance and fault diagnosis responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Millwright certification required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying equipment.
• Manufacturing experience is an asset.
• English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and preventive tasks.
• Determine parts for repairs and replacements.
• Dismantle, modify and maintain equipment as needed.
• Read drawings, diagrams and plans.
• Test machinery to maximize output.
• Operate hand and power tools and meters.
• Follow maintenance procedures and regulatory codes.
• Report safety and quality issues promptly.

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Millwright / Industrial Mechanic installs, maintains, and repairs plant machinery and equipment. You'll work as part of the Maintenance Team to keep the facility running safely and in full regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment failures
• Complete scheduled work orders and preventive maintenance
• Determine required parts for repairs and replacements
• Dismantle, modify, and maintain equipment as needed
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and plans
• Test new and existing machinery to maximize output
• Operate hand tools, power tools, meters, and material handling equipment
• Follow all maintenance procedures and regulatory codes
• Report safety and quality issues promptly
